We had a wonderful Wednesday in third grade today. We
started with some refreshing noun practice.
In reading we worked with multiple skills. We worked
with real/imaginary; word usage, parts of speech (nouns, verbs, adjectives);
verb tense, and vocabulary. We were very busy! We worked on all
these by using stories and activities dealing with the Anansi
stories.
In math we went to the computer lab and took our STAR Math
test. We also got in some time on the IXL site. We practiced math on that
one, as well.
Conference notes went home today. The book fair is
here this week. And Kona Ice will be here Friday during recess!
