Class starts a new book in the 'Cranberry' series

We had another busy, yet successful, day in third grade today!

We started on some stained glass art today.  We have to use permanent markers.  When done, we will put vegetable oil on them, and they will look like stained glass.

In reading we took the whole book quiz over Sarah, Plain and Tall.  We also read our Cranberry Christmas book together.  We compared it to the other books in the series.  The children noticed things I hadn't, and I have used these for years!  We then started a summary activity over the book.  We started with characters.

In math we worked with money operations using bar models.
