Class starts new March Challenge learning activity

We had a great day today!

We started with a color page to practice fine motor skills.

Then we took our Istation math test.  We missed computers yesterday, due to the game.  But we got that taken care of today.

In reading we did a math/reading activity.  First, we read several Dr. Seuss books.  There are 5 or 6 that we have to read because they are on the tally mark chart.  We didn't get to read all 5.  So we will finish tomorrow.  But after everyone has read them we will vote for our favorite.  Then we will make tally marks to show our results.  We will take those results and make a bar graph to show the same information.

We started a March Challenge for the classroom.  There are three boxes under five different headings.  When each activity is done, I will initial the box.  The student will then color the box.  Our goal is to fill our chart by the end of March.

Also, the March Thunder Reading Challenge calendars came home today! They are due April first.
