We had another great day! We continued with our practice and review.
We did another practice activity with multiplication. Specifically, we focused on the 11's. We also added 6 X 8, 8 X 6, 7 X 8, and 8 X 7 to our flashcards.
Our college student and I both listened to groups read again. We are using different books, so everyone will read with each of us. So many have improved in their oral reading. I love listening to them read.
We also did a practice lesson over figurative language. Metaphor and personification gave a few some trouble.
Ice cream will be sold tomorrow in the cafeteria, just like
they do when they sell popcorn. The ice cream is one dollar. Everyone is asked
to buy just one, so that there will be some left for the fourth and fifth
graders.
