Well, it was certainly party day! We did manage to get
a lot of learning done, though.
We started with some silent reading. Then we compared/contrasted three books about flight. They were all nonfiction. They were First Flight, The Glorious Flight, and Flight. The last one is about Charles Lindbergh's famous flight. It is illustrated by an Oklahoman, Mike Wimmer. He happens to be a friend of mine. His work is absolutely beautiful!
We also chose our favorite book of the three and wrote a review.
In math we worked more with angles. They also learned how angles are named.
Then we had our Valentine Party. It was a great success! Thank you for your help!
