We had a wonderful Wednesday in third grade!
We played sight word Bingo today. There are so many of
them, and we need the practice. This was an enjoyable way to practice
them.
We also read our story chorally.
We worked with our spelling words by stepping the remaining
words. We did our spelling aerobics. We also stepped the remaining
spelling words from our list.
We reviewed numbers and order.
In social studies we listened to a book about a fireboat in
New York City that helped in during 9/11--18 years ago. It was a very old boat
but proved to be helpful during that tragedy.
I sent home book orders with your child. They are due
next Wednesday, September 18. Our class code is H97JC for ordering online
at www.scholastic.com.
