Students work with adding supporting detail to main idea

We had a busy day in third grade.  We got some silent reading done.  

We worked more with main idea today.  We went a step further today.  They had to write in the main idea and some supporting details.  We did several practice pages, as I wanted them to see the repetitiveness of what we were doing. It got easier as we went along.

We continued working with mixed addition and subtraction practice.
