Mrs. Christian's Crystals had a great day back.
We started with a multiplication pretest. While we
were discussing what a pretest is, we discussed prefixes. They were able
to make the connection. So if you have an opportunity to throw in a word
or two with prefixes, please do so and discuss them with your child.
We read another chapter of our book. Tonight's reading
assignment is chapter 6. We also read a short passage about important
people in a school. We had a few questions to answer.
In math we were able to go to the computer lab for some
Istation and Xtramath.org practice.
In social studies we went over the passage read while I was
gone. It was about the branches of government. We checked over
it. Then we had an atlas activity.
