We had a good day today! We started by doing a free
write in our writer's notebooks.
We finished our book we have been reading as a class.
We summarized the last three chapters. Then we did a paper fold that
required certain pieces of information. We had to add the title, author,
characters, problem and solution. There was some writing involved, as
well as drawing pictures. We started another book, Lulu's Mysterious
Mission. I know they are going to love this one. Their reading
assignment for tonight is chapters 1-4. The chapters are very short.
There will be no spelling this week.
We worked more with multiplication today. We took
our post test over certain sets of facts and did much better.
Don't forget that book orders are due tomorrow.
