Students work on multiplication

We started our Wednesday with some multiplication practice.  Since we introduced it yesterday by putting examples in our math notebook using arrays, I wanted to see if they truly understood.  We also determined what each number represented.  We will label them with their real names as soon as we finish our examples.

In reading we played sight word bingo.  Then we were put into groups and read a nonfiction book about reindeer. There were multi-leveled questions to answer after reading the book at least twice.  (It was read to them once.)

We went to the computer lab for math.  We first went to "xtramath.org", before going on to Istation.

In social studies we read and discussed local government in Oklahoma.

If your child hasn't returned his or her Thunder reading challenge, please have them do so.
