We had a great day back. Many of us were a little tired. Between the time change and sleeping in for the past week, it got to some of us.
We worked more with fractions today. We concentrated on equivalent fractions today. It was a little rough going, due mostly to being out of "school-mode" for a while. We didn't just use fractions with the same denominator, though. That added a little extra to our lesson when we compared fractions of different denominations. We then had to figure out how to see how much 1/3 was when we had 6 parts. We worked on that for a bit together.
We also read a story and had to answer a few questions. We were able to read aloud, in small groups, and silently today.
