We had a fabulous Friday! We took our ISIP reading test today. Many students improved. Those who didn't, or went down a lot, will be taking it again next week. I feel these students did not do his or her best.
We worked with fractions some more today. Next week, I have a special lesson planned. We will be using Hershey bars.
We read a lot of Dr. Seuss books. One never outgrows Dr. Seuss. His writing made me fall in love with reading and words.
We still have a few who haven't turned in their permission slip for the game on Wednesday of next week. Please get those in. Those who do not return one will be staying behind in another classroom.
We are running low on a few items. If you are out and about, and feel like you want to we could use the following:
- paper towels
- glue sticks
- individually wrapped candy
- Elmer's bottled glue
- erasers that go on the end of the pencils
