We had a great day back.
We practiced adding with regrouping. We revisited the steps and worked on some together.
We also played White Board Wordle. I have come up with a way to play. They were using some high level thinking skills.
We revisited several different ELA skills using a passage about giant pandas. They seem to love reading about animals.
We also reviewed parts of speech. They are getting much better. They still struggle between adjectives and adverbs. I reminded them that adjectives describe something and answer the questions, “What kind?, Which one?, and How many?” While adverbs often (not always) end in “ly” and answer how, when, and where questions.
Remember if you want to order a book that our class is making, I need that by Wednesday. I want to make sure it is back before we get out of school.
We will be taking the math test on Tuesday, April 9th.
