Third graders write about what they are thankful for

We survived the day before break!  There was a lot of energy, but we managed to squeeze in some learning time.

We started by writing about something we are thankful for.

We read our book chorally.  Then we did a project that included the main characters, the beginning, the middle, and the ending of the story.  They had to draw and label the characters.  They also had to choose the correct section for each heading (beginning, middle, and end).  We made a foldable project to show.

We also took our figurative language quiz.
