Class featured in Morning Wake-Up

We had a marvelous Monday today!  And the weather was amazing!  Unfortunately, I don't think it is going to be very pretty tomorrow.

We did Morning Wake-Up today, and everyone did a fantastic job!  The speakers even memorized their parts!  The 100 charts turned out to be pretty awesome, as well.

We reviewed and worked with pronouns a lot today.  We went a little more in depth and categorized them as singular/plural, subject pronouns, and possessive pronouns.  We will continue working on these.

We read a new story about our favorite little fictitious town, Cranberryport.  It had some of the same characters we have come to love.  We listed predictions on a chart before opening the book.  After reading the book, we altered our list.  That is their reading assignment for tonight.  Please help your child to remember to return his or her note, along with the behavior chart.

Also, tomorrow is the last day to turn in the Thunder Reading Challenge for January.

We went to computers to take our monthly Istation reading test.

Spelling lists were handed out.  As always, each student has two copies.  One stays here, and the other should have come home.

We did some multiplication review for math today.
